My work is a celebration of the energy and narrative present in the natural world.
Using papermaking and printmaking techniques, artwork is transformed in shape as ragged edges and exposed fibres form unique bonds. As pulp and fibres pass through my fingers, each sheet is formed with uncertainty- textures, colours and lines are determined by elements beyond my control. Attempting to connect with the viewer, selected materials and imagery tells a part of my story or reminds the viewer of a memory they already have.
I am fixated by the relationship that process has on creation - believing that my art grows with each step, going on a complex journey of its very own.
